We’re currently building our site to include some fantastic information on breast health.
Our Mission
‘Breast of Health Charity promotes breast health education and wellness to raise awareness of how good health practices can, in many cases, help to lower a women’s risk of breast disease. Our service providers give presentations about breast health using visual aids which include demonstrations on breast self examination. They also provide a safe system of breast health screening using digital thermal imaging for early detection of breast disease in the female population. This is especially beneficial where health and wellbeing of women is compromised through poor diet, lack of education and ill health.’
At Breast of Health we provide a pro-active rather than a reactive health service about Breast Health, through education via talks and workshops, our website, newsletter, exhibitions, business and community projects for females of all age groups. It is recognised by that breast awareness and self-examination are vitally important to maintain breast health. However, many women do not know how to do this examination or are fearful of doing it. Our education breast health programme will offer physical and mental reassurance and practical steps in maintaining a healthy mind and body.
Our aim is to offer Digital Thermal Imaging Breast Screening to women from the age of 20 years onwards, which is not currently available.
By alerting and assisting the medical profession in early detection of breast disease, action can be taken and a careful programme planned accordingly to monitor, saving on time, unnecessary worry, in some instances loss of earnings for the patient or client and to save the National Health Service considerable time and money for on-going costly treatment.
We fund raise via the kindness of public donations, businesses, sponsorship and project funding in order to finance our not for profit charity.
